Terms of Use

Effective September 10, 2026

Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of this website.

Services Description

This website provides information about heritage railway experiences, educational programs, and cultural tours focused on historic railway stations in Canada. Services include guided tours, workshops, educational programs, and related heritage activities.

All program descriptions, schedules, and pricing are subject to change. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is current at all times.

Booking and Reservations

Submitting a booking request through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected program. We reserve the right to accept or decline booking requests based on availability, capacity, and suitability considerations.

Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email. A binding contract is formed when you receive confirmation from us, not when you submit the initial request.

Payment

Payment is required according to the terms specified in your booking confirmation. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by program type and are detailed in booking confirmations. Generally, cancellations made at least 14 days before the scheduled program date receive full refunds. Cancellations within 14 days may incur fees or forfeit payment depending on specific program policies.

We reserve the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment, weather conditions, heritage site closures, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Participant Responsibilities

Participants are expected to:

  • Arrive at designated meeting points at scheduled times
  • Follow instructions from program guides and heritage site staff
  • Respect historic properties and artifacts
  • Behave appropriately and respectfully toward other participants and staff
  • Communicate any accessibility needs or special requirements when booking

We reserve the right to remove participants who behave inappropriately, violate heritage site rules, or endanger themselves or others. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

Liability and Assumption of Risk

Heritage programs involve visiting historic structures and may include uneven surfaces, stairs, outdoor elements, and other characteristics typical of heritage sites. Participants assume responsibility for assessing their own ability to safely participate in programs.

While we take reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety, we cannot eliminate all risks inherent in heritage site visits. We are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages except where caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
